April 16, 2010, Newsletter Issue #80: Blogging: Holiday Season

Tip of the Week

Blogging is a wonderful experience. You can choose a topic and create a posting schedule based on your lifestyle including family obligations. This schedule can be changed and you can begin with one schedule and transfer to another schedule if your time becomes limited.

Unfortunately, the holidays tend to drive people away from their blog posting schedule. It can be because of end of the year work deadlines, out of town guests, or multiple dinner/office parties. However, you can continue with your blog posts. For instance, post date your blog post by writing a list of posts and scheduling specific dates through out the week/month. Also, limit the length of your posts to a shorter post. Last, give a quick explanation that you will be stopping your blog posts for a short time.
