January 22, 2010, Newsletter Issue #69: Teen Blogs and Homework

Tip of the Week

A teenagers main focus is school so having a blog should not interfere with school coursework. This may sound simple but some teens spends several hours per week chatting with friends, hanging out, and playing video games. Each of these activities has its place and time to give a teen a well-balanced life.

However, a teen still needs basic supervision to keep from overscheduling. For example, a teen who spends several hours in school and sleeping should only set aside 30 minutes working on a blog. This will give a teen time for all daily activities including homework.
